The conferences badges doubled as an electronics workshop!
In 2011, the third mostly-annual SoOnCon (Southern Ontario Hackerspaces & Makers Mini-Conference) was hosted at the TIFF Bell Lightbox by Site 3 coLaboratory.
SoOnCon is a gathering of Southern Ontario makers, meant to facilitate friendship and cooperation between the various groups.
I gave a lightning talk on the first day, and spoke about the my adventures in 3D printing up to that point.
