What if you could hold a physical representation of a song in your hand? The idea behind this project is to produce a unique, visually interesting design from a song that can be 3D printed and displayed.

I created a basic template model with various attribues in programmatic 3D modelling tool OpenSCAD. When fed a string of data, it alters the attributes of the template to produce a unique 3D model. Although the idea is to use music, the checksum of any arbitrary file can be used.

The web-based tool is no longer active, but can still viewed via the Internet Archive.
