3D Printing
Thor's Hammer

Thor’s Hammer, Mjölnir
When I worked at Objex Unlimited, we needed to do a reliability test of the Afinia H800 3D printer.
I chose to produce and finish a Thor’s hammer model published on Thingiverse by Garrett Kearney.
I modified the 3D model to output the head as a single piece that took 50 hours of continous printing. The finishing process involved lots of sanding, painting, and the use of some putty and glue.
